📚 In 2023, I wrote my first play. In 2024, I’m set to write two more.

Richard Three, which was funded by Toronto Arts Council and produced by Shakespeare in the Ruff in August 2023 was a profound and immensely challenging experience. If you had told me at 14 that I would ever write a play I wouldn’t have believed you but here we go on two more! The upcoming writing projects will be drastically different than the first work and will lean heavier into dance as a medium (surprise, surprise!). 🔎 2024 is also bringing two movement projects forward.

One of them is a short film collaboration with an incredible local musician that was filmed last fall but will be included along with a batch of other films that will premiere early in the Spring. Stand by for all the news on that one. And then I’ll be crawling into a studio for a quick and dirty exploration of movement collaboration with an incredible artist that will have a work in progress showing. It’s going to be 🔥. 🌙 I dedicate this year to listening to that intuitive feeling that creeps into my gut when the work I’m doing feels good and like it’s onto something. I dedicate this year to putting down projects and work that don’t do that.
